State-of-the-Art Dog Fence Installation with Moriarty’s Fence Company
The trained professionals at Moriarty’s Fence Company will have your new wired dog fence installed around your property in no time – with minimal impact to your landscaping and concrete work – so you can start working with your dog to train them with your new Invisible Fence® Brand dog fence system in no time!
Step 1: Your Boundary is Flagged by Your Pet Consultant
When you are meeting with your Pet Consultant to choose the system that’s right for you and your dog, your pet consultant will review the possible applications for avoidance solutions for both outdoor ( gardens ) and indoors ( counter surfers ). If you have chosen an outdoor solution, you’ll walk your property and establish the boundary you want to create. Your Moriarty’s Pet Consultant will place small flags in your ground, establishing the configuration of your Invisible Fence® Brand dog fence boundary.
Step 2: Your Invisible Fence® Brand Installation Day
On Install Day – which is a very exciting day here at Moriarty’s Fence Company – your professional, trained Installer will arrive in their fully equipped van to lay the cable approximately 4″ into your ground using a combination of a trencher for the earth and a powerful saw for cutting a thin seam into pavement and/or concrete.
After the Boundary cable installation has been completed, the installer connects the loop to the Control Panel, which broadcasts the signal (much like a radio station), usually located inside the house in a discreet location like a cellar, a garage, or a room inside.
The entire process, depending on the size of your property and the complexity of your landscape and obstacles, only takes a couple to a few hours.
Step 3: Dog Training
After your dog fence installation is completed, and as long as your dog is old enough ( min 11-12 weeks ), the training begins. Moriarty’s certified pet trainers will fit the IFB Computer collar, and start to introduce the boundary flags, the collar tone, and begin to teach retreat exercises.
The flags that were placed as guidelines for trenching remain in place while your dog is trained in order to serve as visual cues about the boundary of your property. As they gain familiarity and confidence, the flags can ultimately be removed from your property, and your dog will enjoy the freedom of moving about your property, within the safe boundary of your Invisible Fence® Brand dog fence system, safely and freely.
