The Invisible Fence® Brand Power Cap® is the Computer Collar®‘s Reliable Power Source.
How to properly change batteries in your Invisible Fence® Power Cap®.
- Using a flat object, such as a coin, twist the Power Cap® counterclockwise until you feel the spring push the battery out. Remove and toss so you do not get it confused with the new Power Cap®.
- Gently Insert the new Power Cap® at an angle so it lines up with the tiny triangle and then, using your coin, twist clockwise until the lines in the Power Cap® align with the two notches on each side of the Power Cap® terminal. Be careful not to overturn the Power Cap®. Just twist it far enough until you feel a little resistance and the Power Cap® does not spring back out. Over turning can damage the Power Cap®.
- Once the Power Cap® is inserted properly you will see a green light flash on the front side of the receiver five times. This is letting you know that the Power Cap® is good and it’s engaging the receiver.
Part of maintaining your Invisible Fence is taking the Computer Collar® with the newly installed Power Cap® to the line to confirm the receiver is toning and the system is operational.
Hold the strap of the Computer Collar® and walk towards the boundary with the collar held at your dog’s height.
You will hear a tone as you enter the signal field.
